Eduardo is the CFO and CAO of Sebrae Nacional – Brazilian Micro and Small Business Support Service.

He earned his Bachelor of Arts in Law in 1994; and earned his Masters in Leadership at Georgetown University – McDonough School of Business, Washington D.C. Among other institutions, he studied at the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania (United States); the London School of Economics and Political Science – LSE (England); and the International Institute for Management Development – IMD (Switzerland). He also continued his studies in the field of applied psychology, focusing on self-awareness and self-improvement.
Eduardo worked at the World Bank in Washington, D.C. In Brazil, Eduardo worked for eight years in the state government of Ceara in Brazil, both as Director of the Economic Development Agency, and as Secretary for Planning and Management. For nearly three of his four years as Secretary, he also served as President of CONSAD, the national council that congregates all state level secretaries for management in Brazil.
Previously, he had spent six years fully engaged in promoting principled and transformational leadership in Brazil. For two of these years, he served as President of the National Confederation of Young Entrepreneurs.
In addition, he was the key note speaker for many conferences. He, too, participated in many multi-issue international missions to the following countries: Argentina, Australia, Canada, Cape Verde, Chile, China, England, Italy, Russia, South Korea, United Arab Emirates, and United States. In many of these missions, he worked as the head of delegations.
In 2017, he celebrates 20 years of civic and public engagement.
